Annette Hickey

Annette is head of the Surrogacy & Fertility Law team at Poe Kiely Hogan Lanigan and is noted as one of Ireland's leading surrogacy lawyers. With over 20 years' legal experience, she has the knowledge and expertise to assist her clients as they plan their journey towards parenthood.

It is Annette's belief that everyone should have the opportunity to become parents should they wish to do so and she liaises with numerous interest groups to lobby Government on amending legislation to make Surrogacy an easier option for intending parents in Ireland. She is also a regular speaker at conferences, writes articles and contributes to both Radio & TV in addition to her work advising Irish couples the length and breadth of Ireland.

Owing to the sensitive nature of surrogacy, Annette and her team are well known for their compassion and empathy as they strive to help their clients gain as much information as possible to make informed decisions about their future families and receive the correct legal recognition as parents at the end of the process.

Annette and her team also have an excellent network of contacts across the world who they regularly liaise with on behalf of clients in countries such as in Canada, USA, Ukraine and Greece.

Outside of work Annette is married, with four children and lives on a busy farm.

Ger Fahy

Ger is the driving force behind everything the Surrogacy & Fertility Law team does. She has a reputation for being organised, knowledgeable and meticulous in her preparation of client cases and is a key point of contact for clients as they progress along their journey towards parenthood. It is fair to say that Ger is the linchpin of the team and manages all of the day-to-day activities to ensure cases continue to progress and clients are updated and kept informed.

Ailish Farrell

Ailish has a wealth of surrogacy experience. She is a reliable point of contact for intending parents and her attention to detail and genuine interest in surrogacy is evident in the standard of work she produces.

Carol Walsh

Carol provides excellent support for each of the surrogacy cases the team handles. Known for her sensitive and efficient approach to cases Carol is a popular member of the team.

Tanya Voloshyna

Tanya is originally from the Ukraine and moved to Ireland in 2002. With her excellent communications and language skills she can assist with any sensitive translation matters which need to be addressed.
