The Renewable Energy & Windfarm team from Poe Kiely Hogan Lanigan, is pleased to have advised Killala Community Wind Farm during their recent acquisition by Greencoat Renewables.
Greencoat Renewables is paying an initial price of €37.2m, with an additional amount due when the final turbine becomes operational.
The Killala Community Wind Farm is made up of five Siemens 3.4MW turbines which have been generating electricity since July 2018. There is an additional 3.4MW turbine being constructed at the site which will bring the installed capacity to 20.4 Megawatts in the fourth quarter of 2020.
