Surrogacy Event A Great Success

On Saturday, 8th February Poe Kiely Hogan Lanigan was delighted to play its part at one of Ireland’s largest Surrogacy Information Events to date.

With more than 200 people in attendance at the beautiful Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone, assembled guests got to hear from a wide range of speakers about all aspects of Surrogacy in a comfortable and confidential environment.

Speakers at the event included:

Becky Loftus
A recent surrogate mother who spoke about her own experiences carrying a child on behalf of friends who could not ordinarily conceive.
Annette Hickey
As one of Ireland’s most experienced Surrogacy law practitioners, Annette spoke about her own experiences and highlighted the common issues intending parents should be aware of. She also discussed the proposed changes in legislation in Ireland and what this will mean for intending surrogate parents going forward.
John Kennedy, SIMS IVF Clinic
As medical director working in the field of surrogacy and fertility, John spoke about the options available and discussed how a clear focus the diagnostic stage of infertility investigations is the key to successful treatment in the future.
